Life Notes

• Born and raised in Sydney, Australia.
• From childhood, realised that I had a gift and a calling for the visual arts.
• Encouraged by my Scottish grandmother, Elizabeth McGowan, to draw and paint.
• Awarded first prize in the art competition at Castle Hill High School in Sydney.
• Attended Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney through the generosity of benefactor, Yvonne Adrichen.
• More than 35 years as a professional artist.
